Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland is the premier leadership development organization for girls and serves more than 16,000 girls and adults in 80 Kansas counties through it’s operational headquarters in Wichita, Kansas and regional offices in Emporia, Garden City, Hays, and Salina.
Girl Scouting offers programs designed to both reflect today’s issues and help girls prepare for tomorrow. Girls have fun, develop skills, make new friends, and learn through community service to take responsibility for their role in their community.
What I do for Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland
I’ve been the Community Development Manager for Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland since spring of 2010. My position manages fund development as well as communications and PR for the Salina Regional Office of Girl Scouts which serves 15 surrounding counties. I work to find and increase support for our mission: Building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.

- I have two children, Olivia and Parker
- Grew up on a farm in a tiny town called Galatia , about 90 miles west of Salina
- Lived in Salina since 2009
